The Holy Spirit is given as a "helper", the help is to empower us to love God through actions of obedience. Jesus in his words brings us to an understanding that we will either obey the father or the world. What is one thing in our life that is drawing us away from obedience to God? What would it look like to lean into the "helper" in order to love God and experience Christ manifesting in your life?

As the last supper continues to unfold, Jesus makes a powerful truth statement. He claims that he is the truth the way and the life! How does this impact the Church? How does this impact our lives? Knowing that Jesus is the only way to the Father - How do we move forward knowing this ultimate truth?

Holy Week Begins
Book of John 13 -- Graham Braithwaite
John 13 is the story of Jesus and his disciples at the last supper. Jesus gets up and serves his disciples, at this moment He is modeling what it means to be a servant. No matter our position or statuses, we are called to serve and to lead well. Jesus is the king of kings, and yet humble enough to serve his own followers, how do we respond?

For the families, first responders and community members. We stand by you and uplift you in prayer amidst this terrible tragedy. We asking all who call new life Church home to take a moment, pause their day, and Pray for Tumbler Ridge.
This Sunday as we gather we will dedicated time in Prayer for this great loss.

Today we honour and thank Christye Thompson.
After years of faithful service as Administrator, Christye is stepping out of her role at New Life Church. Through every season — growth, change, challenge, and breakthrough — she has served with excellence, integrity, and a heart deeply rooted in Jesus and His Church.
Christye has been the steady hand behind so much of what happens at New Life Church: supporting our pastors, serving our people, stewarding our finances, and keeping our ministry running with care and prayer. Her leadership, organization, and dedication have been a tremendous gift to this house.
We are incredibly grateful for the countless hours, prayers, and unseen work she has poured into New Life Church. Because of her faithfulness, this ministry is stronger, healthier, and better positioned for the future.
Christye, thank you for all you’ve given. You will always be part of the New Life family, and we celebrate all that God has ahead for you. 🤍
