Castlegar Seed Library

West Kootenay Regional Seed Library based out of Castlegar BC. Growing local seeds for our future.

The Castlegar Seed Library is a pilot project made possible in partnership between The Castlegar & District Public Library, Columbia Basin Trust, Area I of the RDCK & The FOODTREE Permaculture. The aim of this project is to establish a West Kootenay Regional seed bank that is free to access, based at the Castlegar & District Public Library from March 29 - April 30, 2014. Borrowers may obtain library seed in exchange for a return of seed at the end of the growing season.
