The last few final days for me 🤍

As I give my first baby over to Makayla and close that chapter, I am so happy and excited to start the next chapter at home with my newest baby!
The last 6+ years has taught me things nothing else in this world could, brought me some beautiful people into my life, and showed me how rewarding yet challenging it is to build something from scratch.

I will always be so grateful for how the community continued to show up for me over and over no matter what! The friendships that have been created in this space hold such a special place in my heart, it’s hard to believe that there would be so many people I wouldn’t know on the level that I do without Tailgate! And I know I am such a lucky girl to have the most amazing staff over the years that have became some of my closest friends and are like family in my heart.

It’s hard to believe this chapter of my life is already over, but it was such a good one that has created the best memories! It was filled with learning curves, new friends, so much laughter, tears and a whole lot of Taylor chaos!

Thank you everyone for always showing up for me with support! Thank you to my Tailgate girls for always going above and beyond at work, especially in the last few months while I’ve been home with baby Beckham! Chance and I are so blessed and forever grateful for that. Thankful that I have such a great family & friends that have always lended me their helping hands. And god bless my mom & dad and husband!
You have all been a huge part of Tailgate! I know you’ll all take such good care of Miss Makayla as she tackles this next chapter in her life!

This weeks special is a Perogie Poutine!!
(Sept 1-4)

A bed is fries topped with cheese curds, gravy, perogies, cheddar cheese, a cream cheese & sour cream flavourful mixture, bacon, and green onions!

We are open Tuesdays now!

We will be closed Saturday September 5th for the long weekend!
We apologize for any inconvenience! Hopefully the weather is nice so we can all enjoy one more weekend of summer!!! ☀️

I have some good & bad news!

The bad news is…I’m taking my Grandma with me when I go!

The good news is…I hear that there is another Grandma taking her place!!

Grandma Pat has secretly been the back bone of Tailgate Dining and deserves the biggest shout out & spot light!

She has made approximately 3000 pies since February of 2020!! That is 18,000 slices!

You know her best for her flapper pie!

This weeks special is a spicy mushroom Swiss burger!
(Aug 26-30)

On a toasted bun will be a homemade beef patty using local twisted t beef, Swiss cheese, bacon, fried mushrooms & whiskey onions, jalapeños, and a drizzle of sauce!!

A kind reminder we will be open on Tuesdays starting September 1st! We will be closed Saturday September 5 for labour day weekend.

S O L D ! !

Oh how the bitter sweet feeling is a whole lot sweeter knowing my dearest friend, Makayla Halliday will be the one taking over Tailgate Dining!!

Miss Mak started working for me within the very first few days of opening Tailgate back in 2020, while she was still in high school! There wasn’t much training I could have given her because, truthfully, I had no idea what I was doing either. She quickly figured things out, learned her role, and somehow always knew exactly what needed to be done. We learned everything together as we worked side by side and growing alongside Tailgate. Our shifts together became like clockwork! She knew what I needed before I even had to ask, and sometimes we didn’t even have to say a word to communicate. As her time continued at Tailgate her responsibility’s grew. She knew the ins and outs and kept me on track too! Then she began to cook, make soups, come up with specials, share ideas of her own and create strong bonds with the customers. It was so special to watch her grow from a quiet high school girl who was just learning the ropes into someone who truly understood Tailgate from the inside out. She became such a huge part of what made Tailgate what it is!

I am so happy it is Mak who I get to hand over the keys too! It just makes sense that her next job title at Tailgate gets to be Owner! Her hard work over the years has truly paid off and I am as proud as I am thankful of her.

I know the community will love to see this transition happen for you Makayla, I know you’ll thrive and take such good care of the walls within Tailgate that we have created. I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow and see how you will make it your own! I wish you the best!

-Tailgate will not be selling gift cards until Makayla officially takes over ownership.
-Your current gift cards will be valid until September 4th, so be sure to use them before then!!

On a toasted pretzel bun will be lettuce, tomato, a crispy chicken burger, cheddar cheese, bacon, pickles and homemade ranch! Served with fries, salad, or homemade soup!!!

This week special is the garlic Parmesan patty melt!!
(Aug 11-15)

Between garlic toast will be melted mozzarella cheese, spinach, fried onions & mushrooms, a homemade beef patty, and our housemade garlic parmesan sauce! Served with fries, salad or homemade soup!!

In a tortilla will be lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, red onion cheddar cheeese and a house made chipotle lime sauce!! Served with fries, salad, or homemade soup!
