This was from last week’s hike. We brought some of Ragnar’s ashes with us and spread them up here. We know his spirit will always be with us but we can’t help but to miss him a little extra when we are out on the trails.

Today, on the Fall Equinox I will revisit this beautiful place and spread some of Ragnar’s ashes along this trail, where we have so many fond memories.

Yesterday I let my big/little brother (who is growing like a weed🌱) .pug have my old hand-me-down harness. I then took him out to explore the changing Fall colours of the forest. 🍂

I remember this day quite well. Everyone we saw on the trail was so excited to see a pug wearing a backpack trekking along the trails. Almost every group we encountered stopped to take pictures of him. He was so proud to be wearing his backpack and posing for photos.
It make my heart so happy to think about all those people who went home that day with photos of Ragnar on their phones and cameras.
