We recently completed a 3 day motor maintenance project for a local client.
This included precisely separating the 50,000lb. stator from the rotor for dry ice cleaning and testing.
This 6000hp General Electric synchronous motor was built in Canada in 1979 and continues to spin nearly 24/7 to meet production requirements.

Here’s a look at a recent install for a local
client:
Issue:
Corrosion inside the manufacturing air pipe system as well as restricted flow due to improperly sized piping. The pipes used were carbon steel, and not the right application for this type of manufacturing environment.
The entire system was underzsized and restricting the air compressor from working at full capacity, leading to production delays and equipment issues.
Solution:
Kaeser SmartPipe. This aluminum tubing product was the best fix the problem. This product offers high flow rates, minimal turbulence and very fast installation. This allowed our team to install without having any production downtime.
We also installed a new, high efficiency, cycling air dryer, that was properly sized for the system.
A high flow Kaeser coalescing pre-filter, new buffer tank, and reworked the entire air system to allow the compressor to operate at full capacity.

A local customer was in need of emergency repairs to a critical chute in their quarry.
We were able to mobilize, coordinate with an engineering firm , and fabricate a solution for them, to allow for work to safely proceed as there were significant hazards present.
All of this work was safely completed in 4 days. Great work by our team.
