Nordic Installations

So yesterday was a first for Nordic Installations. I became a gold sponsor for the Canmore Nordic ski club Canada Day fun run. Being a life long skier I had always wanted to support the nordic community and this year was a good time to start that. Thanks to the many patrons of my little business that have helped allow this to become a reality.

Have you ever had so much going on that you legit can’t get caught up? You, that’s me atm. Just this in the last 2.5 wks I’ve lost a week of production because of unforeseen issues across 3 jobs. Def not a good way to move into tax season. Oh well keep praying and pushing on.

From the left to the right. Customer didn’t like the sounds and smells of her kitchen in her bedroom so she posted on FB about a contractor helping her out. This is what I came up with. She was very impressed.

Customer bought the home with the kitchen on the left. Sounds and smells from the kitchen leaked into the master bedroom above through the gaping holes in the drywall. I filled the holes with insulation then built and installed this valence to make it look as it should have from the beginning. Customer was greatly surprised at the finished look. She thought it was gunna be bulky and just utilitarian. No chance of that on my watch

Then this is how it finished up. Def a better space for the customers laundry needs. Specifically with 3 active teenaged sports enthusiast children. Space to hang and space to fold.

Custom built in king size bed for an Airbnb customer. There will be a pendant over the floating shelf and track light along the back to the wall. Spanish made laminate flooring was used at the finish product.

Horizontal grain, grain matched chipotle walnut cabinets by supplied by . This layup gives you no mistake room at all. You damage 1 pce you replace everything. Adjustments take forever based on everything lining up as if it has never been cut. This gives you a sleek seamless look.

Have you ever seen something like what’s on these doors? I had never either until this job. Chinese made product with many doors having the exact #100%matchinggrain on doors side by each.

Mitred corner on the island panels. Looks nice once tape was off but sadly the customer refused all the oak fronts, panels and furniture base.

What would you think if a contractor was to add a weekend fee to any work done on a weekend overtop his/her/they weekly work load? M-F being a normal week and S-S being extra hrs.
