Hiking and forest bathing in the alpine is pure magic. The only thing better is doing it at a backcountry lodge.
The pica’s are alpine farmers who have started “haying” to get ready for our long cold winters. There are little patches of leaves all over the alpine right now.
This is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Hiking and forest bathing in fall at Burnie Glacier Chalet, September 16-20. Details in my bio.

Are you experiencing grief or anxiety? If so try this…give it to the land.
Just got back from a Nature as Medicine Practitioner Reunion. It’s amazing to see the results personally and professionally in one year.
Happy Forest Therapy Day💚. I led a walk in Banff and Canmore today. It was nice to see locals giving themselves permission to slow down in the forest.
Welcome to the magic of spring.
Today this video of Shinrin Yoku in Banff was released on the Destination Cananda Japan site. It was such a pleasure to work with this team.

I'm excited to be involved in the PaRx Connectors which is launching today: a new national initiative designed to help patients follow through on nature prescriptions by connecting them with trained, trusted practitioners—including forest therapy guides—across Canada.
Since Canada’s national nature prescription program led by BC Parks Foundation, PaRx, launched in 2020, more than 20,000 licensed healthcare providers have collectively improved the health of an estimated 1.5 million Canadians who have received prescriptions for time in nature.
Now, the PaRx Connectors program pairs prescriptions with trained practitioners who can guide, support, and help people build confidence and
consistency in spending time outdoors.
PaRx Connectors registration is hope to trained forest therapy guides who are a member of Nature and Forest Therapy of Canada, interested supporting patients as they put nature prescriptions into practice.
Learn more and register to become a PaRx Connector at www.parkprescriptions.ca
Practitioners will receive:
📝 A PaRx Connector toolkit, including a welcome guide, shareable materials on the health benefits of nature, and a code of conduct
🥇 The ability to identify themselves as as PaRx Connector, including a digital badge for SM, websites and email signatures
PaRx: A Prescription for Nature We’re breaking ground as Canada’s first national, evidence-based nature prescription program. Nature prescriptions were named one of the top 8 global wellness trends in 2019.
