For anyone using the product
HOOF DOCTOR in the barn, I ask that you please use it only in a stall as one of my staff members has just brought to my attention that it has birch bark extract as one of the ingredients which is known as Xylitol and apparently she was told by the veterinarian that it is extremely poisonous to dogs as she is at the vet now with her dog.
Hoof doctor is a wonderful product, but please know that it is and can be poisonous to dogs
Do not use in the aisles only in the stall

Reminder.
Please remember to clean up after yourself. Sweeping of the aisles after grooming, especially if horses are shedding and please remember that all hair has to go in the red tall garbage container beside the refrigerator in the front aisle.
Staff works hard every morning and at turn in to sweep and clean up all the aisles and we ask that everyone does their part as well please and thank you. 🙏

Notification: In anticipation of the impending cold snap, we have decided to keep many of the horses indoors on Monday and Tuesday. Horses with higher energy levels and/or anxiety will be turned out for one to two hours while stalls are being cleaned, after which they will return to their stalls. This measure will help retain body heat within the barn, reduce the risk of water lines freezing, and provide outdoor horses with increased access to shelters. We kindly request that all doors remain closed as much as possible, including during stall cleaning when doors must be opened and closed each time you enter and exit. It is recommended that riding activities be limited for the safety of the horses.

🚨What should you look for in a mobility supplement? 🚨

There are a ton of mobility supplements on the market for horses and it can be easy to get confused by all the labels and promises. Best way to tell what you're getting? Check the labels and the levels.

Here are the ingredients you should be looking for when you shop:

-Glucosamine, of course. The basic building block of all connective tissues, this ingredient can often be found in Glucosamine Sulfate or Glucosamine HCL. An effective dose is usually between 6,000-10,000mg/scoop, with working horses needing more.
- Chondroitin sulfate is a major structural component of cartilage, bone, and tough connective tissues like the whites of the eyes. Its greatest benefit is preventing further cartilage breakdown. Recommended dose is between 1,250-5,000mg.
-MSM is an important anti-inflammatory. It can be fed alone but requires a MUCH higher dose to be truly effective on its own.

Don't wait until your horse is lame to start a joint supplement, some of the damage that can occur is irreversible no matter how amazing the product.
