As Jeremy Hansen embarks on humanity’s next journey to the Moon, he carries with him the hopes, dreams, and pride of an entire nation. A Canadian fighter pilot turned astronaut, Hansen’s dedication, calm leadership, and quiet determination perfectly embody what Canada brings to space exploration. For the first time, a Canadian will travel around the Moon as part of Artemis II, a mission that marks the dawn of a new era in exploration. This isn’t just about reaching farther than we’ve gone before; it’s about proving what’s possible when nations work together, when science serves humanity, and when we dare to look up.
Today, we celebrate not only Jeremy Hansen but everyone who built the path he’s walking. Engineers, scientists, educators, and dreamers across generations.

This weekend, our great team connected with hundreds of residents both in Cambridge and University-Rosedale, supporting our amazing candidate .daniellemartin. It was wonderful to see so many volunteers come together across the country. Dr. Martin’s dedication to service and leadership will add tremendous value to our already amazing caucus in Ottawa.

Spent some time at last month with , , and for the Black Excellence in Politics Summit alongside colleagues from all levels of government. 

The summit was full of powerful conversations, thoughtful questions, and so many young people excited to learn about politics, public service, and Black excellence in all its forms. Thank you for having me!

Heartbroken to hear of Catherine O’Hara’s passing. I grew up watching her brilliance on SCTV, and she never stopped inspiring. From those early sketches to Schitt’s Creek. A true original, endlessly funny and full of heart. Thank you, Catherine. 🤍🇨🇦

I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and former colleague, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan. Kirsty’s passion, brilliance, and tireless dedication to public service left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to work alongside her.
As both a scientist and parliamentarian, she inspired countless Canadians through her integrity, compassion, and unwavering pursuit of excellence. Her commitment to advancing science, equity, and the well being of others will continue to guide and inspire future generations.
My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and all who mourn this tremendous loss. Canada has lost a remarkable leader and I will miss her deeply.

Wishing you all a warm, safe, and very Merry Christmas from the May family. For us Christmas dinner arrived fashionably late this year. Freezing rain rolled through London snapping limbs that knocked out power for 24hrs. Also caused energized lines to spark and set nearby trees on fire. Thanks to emergency crews working around the clock, everyone is safe, power has been restored and the Christmas dinner was just as good a day late.

For the first time in a quarter century I’m experiencing my first day of school. I’m thrilled to be taking the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Also excited to experience this challenge with my friend and colleague Filomena Tassi.
