We are asking for your help. We have had 2 sick animals this week and we are in need of funds to cover the vet care. Chloe in our rescue needed some tests done to rule out some concerns we are having about her health. We also needed to help a low income family try to save their dog who was in dire condition. Our vet bill is now sitting at $6000 due to a previous balance as well. If you can help with even a $10 donation, every bit helps. We rescued Alphonso a 4 year old, 60lbs rotti mix from an animal control on the weekend where he wasn't doing well. He was tuckered out from his long trip. He did great in the car and loves treats. He is definitely a couch dog! He likes other dogs but can play rough. He is settling in well in his foster home and should be ready for adoption soon. Watch for updates!

Our gift card fundraiser is still going. How about giving your graduate some gift cards so they can enjoy a reward after years of school.

Echo was adopted today to a nice gentleman in Waterloo where she will be a spoiled pup!

Hans and Chewie have been waiting 3 long years to be adopted. They are bonded brothers who must be adopted together and are indoor cats. They are shy and take time to get used to people but are very sweet. They are looking for a quiet adult home with patient people to love them. If that's you please apply!

Thank you to Miss Dixie's foundation for the much needed dog food donation! Some of it was already delivered to dogs in need before we took this picture. Part of our mission as a rescue is to help low income families keep their pets when in loving homes by providing pet food, supplies and vet care when we can. We meet a lot of kind people just down on their luck and their animals mean everything to them. This is one way to keep more animals out of shelters. We also help people with other supports and people food when situations arise and we have the resources. No donation goes to waste and our goal is to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them as much as we can.
