Hit the lake today! Stopped to fly fish with the 6wt and a chartreuse Woolly Bu**er before trolling for walleye. Ended up with this beautiful smallmouth — what a fight!

Yesterday was one of the best brook trout days I’ve had in a long time. Bright, beautiful fish in equally stunning water. My go-to Purple Pheasant Tail Nymphs were absolutely on fire all day long!

The best part? It was all right here at home — no thousand-mile journey required. Just pure local adventure.

Got out on the water again. I Had to fish through some snow and rain but it was worth it. Landed a really nice Rainbow on an Olive Leech I tied recently.

Got out for the first time of the year yesterday. No fish, but a nice day all the same.
