It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Slowly emerging from winter hibernation with a fun (and gorgeous!) new collab with our friend Jade .gremlin_ who is making the sweetest flower vases for us. I had to share this sneek peek before our Mother's Day 💐 pre-orders start next week because I'm so excited. The quality, attention to detail, everything is gorgeous. The height and weight of these are perfectly balanced for the top heavy tulips that get a little unwieldy - ah-hem, queen of the night looking at you!

Hey flower peeps! We've been hibernating, avoiding social media and germinating this season's creative direction. Our CSA (flower subscription) is almost full and 99% return customers; some every year since the beginning. We're so grateful for you. There are two full seasons left, and one of each Spring and Summer. 💐🏵️🌻 I can't wait for tulip and narcissus season...and dahlia and sunflower...and zinna. Ooo larkspur. I can't wait. The seasons are shifting my friends! Spring in all her beauty will be here soon. Hang tight. Dream of flowers.

Most gardeners would probably agree that seed ordering and organizing are the best winter activities there are. I ordered mine last summer in the height of the action because I had a keen sense of what I wanted to do differently next growing season. It's been a treat to see what summer me had in mind as winter me dives into planning.

If anything, the longer I am a gardener the deeper my appreciation becomes for the beauty of flowers. It's no small thing to care for a plant and watch them transform. The world feels a little lighter and a little more hopeful with this small recognition of change. Seeds are being planted for a more equitable world. They need nurturing, time and attention. That is what I'm carrying into 2024 and a small prayer I'll offer for every garden I plan, every new seed I put in soil. Another world is possible. Another world is ready to bloom.
