The progression of failed QRS secondary clutch rollers found in Ski-doo snowmobiles from 2008-2025.
The failure:
-occurs when the secondary helix contacts the rollers when shifting from forward to reverse and back.
The result:
- a secondary clutch that is stuck in the open position, causing the machine to struggle to move as engine RPM increases
-potential further damage to the helix or clutch components
The repair:
-replace the OEM rollers with Hi-Torque rollers BEFORE they fail

It’s been a busy few weeks at Strictly RPM getting things buttoned up in time to enjoy the snow and recently opened OFSC trails here in Bonfield! Thanks to Bonfield Snowmobile Club for all of their hard work and patience, as always, refer to the ITG for trail statuses and local pages for conditions! We had a little accident Friday night with one of our fur babies, but she’s in great spirits and well on her way to recovery! We are gearing up for another busy week ahead, but for today, dads going to take a little break and put a couple miles on and visit some friends on the lake! Keep an eye out on the local Bonfield snowmobile trails this season! Strictly RPM is advertising trail-side in and around the Bonfield area! Services are available evenings & weekends, & are available from the North Bay area to South River area. We will be stocking common OEM belts, sliders, oils, & Jerry cans of premium fuel for those emergency situations.
