If you love antiques, put this shop in your must visit list in Grand Forks!

Every year we travel to Christina Lake for a couple of weeks, and one of our favorite stops is Luv This Stuff Antiques. It’s just off the main street in Grand Forks.

The owners are kind and always happy to share the story behind a unique find. I especially appreciate the handwritten tags that has the year or a bit of cool history about each piece.

The many windows fill the shop with natural light. It makes all the pretty vintage glass sparkle.

I took some photos of a few of my favorite pieces from today's visit. Be sure to check out the gallery in the back, which features artwork and photography created by one of the owners.

This is a must-stop for anyone who loves antiques, appreciates great customer service, or simply enjoys meeting adorable little dogs (their sweet greeter is always there to welcome visitors)!

My favorite find today was a uranium glass two-cup mixing bowl with egg beaters. I'd never seen one before.

Summer is often a little quieter for estate sales, which means the Angels get a chance to spend some well-earned time with family and sneak in a little vacation. ❤️

That doesn't mean we stop looking for treasures! Wherever we go, we're always peeking into antique shops, estate sales, and little hidden gems. You never know what piece of history you'll stumble across.

This week I found myself in Greenwood, BC. It’s described as Canada's smallest city, with a beautifully preserved historic main street that feelslike stepping back in time. Even though this gorgeous antique shop was closed, the window displays alone were worth the stop.

I spotted a stunning collection of vintage treasures, including:
✨ A 1950s Hollywood Liquefier blender in two-tone blue
✨ A gorgeous Clare Jewel stove made in Ontario
✨ A Westinghouse luminous radiator heater dating back to the 1920s

I'm not necessarily a collector, but I absolutely love seeing these pieces of history preserved. The displays felt more like a museum than a storefront, and every window told a story.

Now I'm curious...

An estate sale is never just a sale. It’s a collection of stories waiting for their next chapter.

On August 15, 2015, Angels was hosting an estate sale in Lakeview. Among the treasures that day was an old truck sitting in the yard. It was covered in leaves, surrounded by years of dust and forgotten memories. It had four flat tires, a dead battery, and looked like it had reached the end of its journey.

But Colin saw something different.

He bought that truck from the family for $600 and spent the next year bringing it back to life alongside his dad. What started as someone else’s forgotten possession became a project filled with hard work, memories, and pride.

And the best part? Colin still drives that same truck today… to Angels Estate sales.

That’s the magic of an estate sale. It’s not just about what’s being sold. It’s about where things have been, the people who loved them, and the new stories they get to become part of.

Every item has a history. Every buyer has a story. And sometimes, a little piece of someone’s past finds exactly the person who was meant to have it. ❤️
