Our Kindergarten and Grade 1 boys recently combined creativity and discovery through a hands-on hydro-dipping activity. While creating vibrant, tie-dye patterns with shaved chalk, they were also exploring key scientific concepts like density and surface tension.

From strengthening fine motor skills to learning how materials interact in real-time, it was a memorable experience of curiosity and creativity in equal measure.

🎓 Celebrating the Class of 2026 🎓
Graduation 2026 was more than the end of Grade 12—it marked the completion of an incredible journey for our Navigators.
For many of our graduates, this moment represented years of growth at North Point. There’s something truly special about being part of a community where teachers and staff have the privilege of knowing students and their families over many years, watching them learn, grow, and become who they are today.
Each graduate stepped to the podium with confidence and poise. While it may have surprised some in the room, this was no overnight transformation—these students have been finding and strengthening their voices day after day, year after year.
Before crossing the stage, every graduate was honoured with a personal tribute from a teacher. These reflections went far beyond academics—filled with laughter, shared memories, field trips, milestones, and the moments in between. In return, students offered heartfelt toasts to parents, classmates, and staff… with a few playful roasts mixed in.
Held at Pinebrook Golf Course, the intimate ceremony and banquet was a beautiful celebration of community, connection, and achievement. Watching our graduates officially become alumni—surrounded by the classmates, families, and staff who shaped their journey—was a moment few could experience without getting emotional.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. We can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next.

Our High School Art students took a creative detour with a visit to the Wildflower Arts Centre for a pottery wheel throwing session.

Wheel throwing is as challenging as it is exciting, requiring deep focus and patience as students learn to work with form and technique. It’s a wonderful opportunity to embrace mistakes as part of the creative journey while honing fine motor skills.

Our Grade 6 boys headed to the Land Campus to build birdhouses as part of their Science studies on biodiversity. After constructing the frames outdoors, they added the finishing touches in the classroom, beautifully blending practical skills with environmental learning.

This project goes beyond the classroom. The completed birdhouses will be installed around the Land Campus, where the boys will use wildlife cameras to track and document the local bird species that move in. It’s an incredible, hands-on way to study ecosystems, conservation, and stewardship firsthand.

Our Grade 3 boys recently stepped up as reading mentors for our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students. Through these shared reading sessions, they did an amazing job encouraging literacy skills and building genuine connections across grade levels.

More than just a reading lesson, this activity gives the older boys a real-world platform to model patience, responsibility, and confidence for their younger peers—strengthening our school community one page at a time.

Our Grade 4/5 girls at the School for Girls enjoyed a beautiful spring afternoon in Marda Loop for an energetic game of "Capture the Frisbee". With calm winds and plenty of sunshine, it was the perfect setting for outdoor play, teamwork, and friendly competition.

To top off a fantastic day of being active, the class made a special stop at My Favorite Ice Cream Shoppe for a cold and creamy treat on the way back to school. It was the sweetest ending to a wonderful day of fresh air and laughter.

☀️🌊 Not every day on the West Coast Outdoor Education trip was packed with high-energy adventure. Some days were all about slowing down and soaking in the beauty around us.
Students enjoyed ocean paddle boarding and leisurely kayaking under the warm British Columbia sunshine, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying time on the water with friends. The temperatures were warm, the ocean was calm, and the vibes were definitely chill. 😎🛶
These moments of relaxation were the perfect balance to a week filled with exploration, learning, and adventure.
