On Friday, we said goodbye to our girl Cricket. It's hard to sum up how much impact Cricket had on my life and how much I learned from her. I'm going to miss her more than I can say. Good girl, Cricket.

Listen. This photo is staged. We got another bunch of snow today so I’m faking spring. Fake it until you make it, right!?! Right!!!!
Seriously, though, these Explore Collars are great in the snow ORRRR the spring mud - waterproof, dirt proof and ready for any adventure.
It’s National Puppy Day! Even though both of my dogs are getting old, they will always be my puppies. 💜 give your pups some love from me today

Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings from our family to yours 💜 I hope your dogs had as much fun shredding wrapping paper as ours did 🎄

I know! The photo and the song don’t match. But it’s Cricket’s gotcha day and she is a wrecking ball! She has crashed through life like no other dog I know with a big smile on her face and a complete disregard to her body… or mine 😂 what a girl 💜💜
Anyone else celebrate gotcha days?

A few leather dog tags are heading off to their place on the collars of some very good doggos. Over time, the leather will develop a beautiful patina and I always hope they will become treasured keepsakes of all of the adventures you share with your dogs 💜

The most popular collar this year is the Northern Lights collar - you can get it with your dogs info printed on it and skip the tag... or just get the tag too 💜

SciArt September continues! I guarantee I won’t be able to keep up all month, but check out the hash tag and see all the cool art that’s happening
Today’s theme is Jewel and what immediately popped into my head was the tiny Ruby Throated Hummingbird. I remember how jewel like they looked flitting about the yard on a summer evening when I was a kid and it was equally fascinating to watch to them fighting for territory.
These little birds are fascinating creatures. Their wings beat more than 50 times per SECOND. They can’t walk or hop because their wee legs are too short. They can see colours that humans can’t see (ultraviolet). The oldest known individual lived to be more than 9 years!
In honour of these thumb sized birbs I designed a dog collar and tag. Let me know what you think!
