Tuesday Travel goals 💯

One of our highlights from 2021 was the delivery of Canada’s 1st Sián FKP 37 and what an achievement indeed!

Its totally carbon fiber body leaves you breathless. The electrochromic roof and moving surfaces controlled by smart materials are sculpted by innovative lines. The Terzo Millennia-inspired headlights leave behind an indelible luminous signature that will shape future Lamborghini design.

Travelling over 200 miles across the Scottish Snow Roads, several Lamborghini’s toured the Scottish Cairngorms at the start of Winter 2021, starting from the city of Edinburgh and passing through still-closed ski resorts and the highest village in the Scottish Highlands, Tomintoul.

The spectacular scenery contrasted with the brilliant colour of the cars such as the Aventador SVJ Roadster in Arancio F*x together with its Blu Dedalo stablemate Aventador S. The design and colors of the cars turned heads as much as the sound.

During an overnight stay in the Hauser and Wirth-owned Fife Arms in Braemar, with its own original artworks and antiques numbering more than 15,000, the Lamborghini pilots were transported in the Urus to the Cairngorms Dark Sky Park – the most northerly in Europe – to seek out stars including Cor Tauri.

The brightest in the Ta**us constellation, Cor Tauri is the moniker adopted by Lamborghini to describe its program towards vehicle electrification and ongoing sustainability

The Lamborghini Urus recently unlocked the highest drivable road in the world at the top of the Umling La Pass in India’s Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, which is 19,300ft above sea level.

Built by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), the Umling La Pass is a remarkable feat of engineering carried out by the BRO under weather conditions where the minimum temperature ranges from -20 degrees to -10 degrees.

With extremely thin air density, the unpredictable road terrain combines gravel, rough and concrete surfaces with a wind speed varying from 40-80 km/h, making it one of the most challenging and difficult roads to conquer.

The Countach LP 500 has returned, entered in the class reserved for concept cars at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. It is a passionate reconstruction carried out by Automobili Lamborghini’s Polo Storico that required over 25,000 hours of work on behalf of an important collector. The contribution of the Lamborghini Centro Stile was fundamental in the reconstruction of the bodywork and supervision of the styling.

Well-known for being the star of the 1981 comedy film ‘The Canonball Run’, the 1979 Lamborghini Countach LP 400 S, chassis number 1121112, has made history by being included on the National Historic Vehicle Register of the United States Library of Congress, managed by Hagerty Driver’s Foundation, on the shortlist of just 30 cars to date considered of national importance for the United States.

It’s been exactly 40 years since the film was released and to celebrate this historic moment, the Countach is being displayed this week inside a glass case in the National Mall in Washington D.C., one of the capital’s most important historic sites and also home to the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.
