As a kid I would go to Spruce and admire the photographers with their big lenses and official Spruce Meadows vests, and pretend I was one of them with my parents’ old film point and shoot.
Some decades later, here I am: with a giant lens and a Spruce Meadows vest, getting to create memories for some amazing riders and their incredible horses.
Many, many thanks to for these wonderful images… not to sound like ChatGPT but these aren’t just some photos to me, they’re documentation of a childhood dream being realized. ♥️

Spruce Meadows Continental ✔️

Natalie, BP Magic, and Quidam Clover kicked off their Summer Series at Spruce Meadows this week, and I’m excited to be along for the ride (pun intended.) Good rounds, strong starts, and a whole season of opportunities still ahead.

I can’t wait to see what these three accomplish over the coming weeks 🤎

A few favourites of Alison and Vintage from Sunday’s ride at Tilted Tiara.

One of the best parts of this sport is getting to watch riders and partnerships evolve over time, and I’ve been lucky enough to follow Alison’s career for over half a decade. The growth I’ve seen in Alison’s riding, especially over the past year, has been incredible. Every ride seems more confident, more polished, and more connected than the last.

When she asked if I could grab some photos instead of video this weekend, I was delighted to be able to. Thank you to the official photographer, Jessie, for kindly making that possible.
