The Calgary Chapter library will be open Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. summer hours. At 2:30 p.m. a DVD will be shown of music and pictures from Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan (approx.. 59 minutes). Everyone welcome.

As an example – sandwiches, buns, pickles, devilled eggs, cold cuts, egg salad, salad, dessert. OR ANY OTHER OF YOUR OWN CHOICE.

Join us and enjoy some visiting with friends and eating great food before the presentation.

The “Blue Jar” will be placed out at all future meetings in lieu of “fundraiser paid meals”. This is to help offset the cost of renting the kitchen and the meeting room. Thank you in advance for your donation.

If you have not yet paid your 2026 membership, you can do so prior to lunch.

CALGARY CHAPTER AHSGR
INVITES YOU TO
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Saturday, 21 February 2026

DOORS OPEN: 11:00 a.m.
LIBRARY OPEN
LUNCH: 12:00 noon – POTLUCK

MEETING: 1:15p.m. – reports will be on the table for your review prior to lunch. Reports will not be read during the meeting; however, you will have an opportunity to ask questions.

We have a vacant Secretary position and require someone to step forward.

We will also discuss how we move forward with lunches as there is no longer a Kitchen lead to purchase supplies for fund raiser meals. The options are – potluck each meeting, bring your own lunch, or only coffee/tea available and no lunches.

At present, we are unable to fill Executive positions and Committee positions with new members. We cannot continue to operate as a viable Chapter if we do not have more volunteers stepping forward. If you are interested in volunteering, or standing for office, please put your name forward by calling or emailing one of the Executive or Board members.
