Quality of childcare should not be up for discussion. I support parent choice and parent funding. I support small, local childcare. I do not support the cost control framework and I have a problem with the lack of support for childcare businesses, the government overreach in audit requirements, the lack of support and transparency in funding models that support good business planning. I support all operators who have closed their doors today and those that will have to close their doors forever due to this so called "agreement". We have signed under duress. I hope our centre can withstand the pressures of this program. Decades of experience lead me to believe this will not improve quality, choice or access. Where does that leave children and families?
