Less & Lavish
High-performance, all-natural hair care. For women who want clean beauty, without compromising elegance. Canadian Made 🇨🇦
One of the questions I get asked most often is:
“Why do you have 3 shampoos but only 1 conditioner?”
Because different scalps have different needs.
But beautiful, healthy hair almost always benefits from deep nourishment and moisture.
So I created each shampoo with a very specific purpose in mind.
The Chamomile Shampoo is our gentlest formula that was designed for sensitive, irritated, dry, itchy scalps and even dandruff-prone skin. It’s incredibly calming and soft, making it a beautiful option for children as well.
The Ultra-Lux Shampoo is the hero of the collection and the perfect pairing for the Ultra-Lux Conditioner. This formula is much more sophisticated and treatment-focused, with a base of aloe vera juice, rosewater, and purified water, plus a natural chelator to help remove hard water mineral buildup. It also contains nourishing oils like argan and camellia seed oil to leave the hair soft, glossy, and healthy without silicones.
And finally, the Clarifying Shampoo.
I created this because most people today are using styling products, dry shampoo, hair oils, heat protectants, and environmental pollutants are constantly building up on the hair and scalp.
Over time, regular shampoos often aren’t enough to fully remove that buildup.
A clarifying shampoo gives the hair a much deeper cleanse and works especially well for oily scalps or anyone struggling with heavy buildup. Most people use it once a week or once every couple of weeks depending on their hair type and lifestyle.
Honestly, my personal recommendation for most people is:
choose the shampoo best suited to your scalp needs…
but also keep a clarifying shampoo in your routine for that occasional reset wash.
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp ✨
I’m not against all conventional beauty products.
And I’m also not interested in fear-based marketing.
I don’t believe everything is “toxic.”
I don’t believe one shampoo is going to ruin your life.
And I think there needs to be far more nuance in these conversations.
But I do believe modern life exposes us to an enormous amount of chemicals on a daily basis; through food, water, air, plastics, fragrances, cosmetics, cleaning products, and more.
And while many ingredients are considered safe at low individual levels, there is ongoing research happening around cumulative exposure, endocrine disruption, and overall toxic load over time.
That’s why many of us in the wellness and clean beauty space try to simply be more mindful about the products we use most consistently.
I don’t want people to make decisions from a place of panic or obsession. Just from awareness.
Especially when it comes to synthetic fragrance, where research continues to explore links between certain fragrance-related chemicals like phthalates and hormone disruption.

At the same time, I also think stress and fear are unhealthy too.
So for me, this lifestyle has never been about perfection, (I’m far from). But for me and many like me, it’s about reducing unnecessary exposure where we reasonably can… while still enjoying life, beauty, luxury, and the world us.
Because wellness should feel grounding.
Not exhausting.
And I think that balance matters more than anything.
