✨New Studio Tour! ✨
I moved into a new house a few months ago that has a little bonus room - what a fun surprise! After some negotiating (with my partner, who turned the entire garage into his workshop) I successfully claimed it as my new glass studio!
Having an in-home studio is such a dream. I have to watch my noise levels because my grinder is a beast, and I also have to walk upstairs every time I need the sink, but they are small inconveniences really.
I’ve had to do a lot of re-buying of equipment and supplies, due to moving overseas, but it’s coming together and feels so good!
Now I just need a giant glass haul from somewhere… 🤞🏼 🤔

I’m baaaaaaack, baby!
15 months later, I have a new studio space (anybody want to see photos?) and it feels so good. *understatement* 😄
First piece on the table was a request that I was absolutely itching to start, in fact I didn’t even wait for my workbench to be installed, I was too impatient.
This customer has one of my triangle pieces and wanted another triangle in rainbow, with a nod to chakras.
I drew up a few pattern iterations and we played with swapping the colours around until we hit the sweet spot.
And Ta Da!! Here it is!
It’s gorgeous and I’m obsessed. Plus, rainbow glass always makes the best shadows. 🌈 (It’s truly shocking that my house isn’t filled with rainbow pieces 😆)

The weather outside is truly frightful (-17C) 🥶 😭 but I think these pretty, sparkly stars add a tiny bit of magic.
Took me ages to find the bevel pieces I needed (they were packed in a bag, in a box, inside a bin shipped from Aus, in the storage room 😵💫) but I’m glad I didn’t give up on the hunt! Worth the wait?!
Decided to drop the price a bit, since we’re pretty late in the game for this years festivities..

Pretty Things
I’d been wanting to try my hand at stained glass for ages, and when I finally did I fell in love with it. I moved across the world and couldn’t work for a few months, so it was the perfect time to get completely obsessed and spend all that spare time creating.
I’ve now opened an Etsy shop where anyone worldwide can order my pretty things! I’m constantly working on designs and techniques - the inspiration and challenges are endless.
