Most people keep their money in one bucket. The wealthy usually don’t.

💰 High-interest savings accounts
📈 GICs
📊 Investment portfolios

Different goals require different tools. The real strategy isn’t choosing one.

It’s knowing when to use each.

Most people are not broke because of one catastrophic decision.

It is usually years of normal decisions that slowly raised the cost of maintaining their life.

The hard part is that from the outside, everything can still look successful.

Most people think investing is just about getting the highest return possible.

Big drawdowns change people.

A 10% decline needs ~11% just to recover
A 20% decline needs ~25% to recover
And 50% decline needs 100% to recover

That’s why I spend more time with clients about structure, allocation, and risk than chasing whatever is performing best at the moment.

A portfolio only works if you can actually stay invested through volatility.

Helping the Children of Cuba

Cuba is facing a deep humanitarian crisis where access to basic necessities like food, medicine, and electricity has become a daily struggle.

During a recent mission, Ashid Bahl, president and founder of For the Love of Children Society, witnessed firsthand the reality many families are living, from people searching for food to children growing up without reliable power.

Despite it all, their resilience and spirit remain strong. The team supported five vulnerable communities with meals, supplies, and solar lights, but the need is far greater.

Volatility exposes weak positioning.

For many high net worth investors who have surpassed milestone wealth goals, taking more risk is not always the objective.

Reducing unnecessary risk while staying positioned for growth often becomes the focus.

Take a look at the graph in this video. Have you reached these milestones, and has your risk strategy evolved with it?

Market volatility is a stress test and most portfolios fail it. Why?

Structure matters more than prediction. If your portfolio isn’t built for volatility, it’s worth reviewing.

Real risk is making the wrong move with your money and not realizing it for 10+ years.

Paying off low-interest debt too aggressively.
Sitting in cash too long.
Investing without a strategy.

That’s how wealth quietly disappears.

Risk isn’t just volatility- it’s missed opportunity.

If you’re making big financial decisions right now,
make sure you understand the real risk.

Most people have been taught one rule about money:
pay off debt as fast as possible.

But what if that advice is costing you more than it’s saving you?

Debt isn’t the problem. Unoptimized debt is.

The real question is:
Is your capital working harder reducing debt or being deployed elsewhere?

High-interest debt? Eliminate it. No debate.
But low-cost debt tied to long-term growth potential? That’s where strategy matters.

Because at a certain point, aggressively paying everything down can quietly slow down your wealth trajectory.

This is where cash flow planning changes the game.
