It’s the mind of the Spanish horse, more than any other trait, that makes us such a fan of this breed.

No wonder it’s unique! The Spanish horse alone has this remarkable genetic heritage: the Jennet + the N.African Barb + the cold-blooded N. European horse + a dash of Arabian blood.

What’s a Jennet? A medieval horse indigenous to the Iberian peninsula—now extinct.

We put bits in young mouths & in some cases force their bodies into an outline way before their skeletons have matured.
