This is my favourite kind of appointment.
Your grey hair isn't just a different colour. It's a different texture.
That's the part nobody tells you. As the pigment goes, the hair itself changes. It often feels drier and more wiry, especially around your temples and hairline, because your scalp produces less oil over time.

The truth is...
Nobody wakes up one day and decides to stop colouring their hair.
It builds.
A rescheduled appointment here, a root spray there, one more photo you do not love. And at some point the upkeep costs more than what you are getting back.

🖤 Grey hair has a different texture
It tends to be coarser, drier and more resistant, which is why it can push back against colour that used to work perfectly on you.
🖤 Blending is not the same as covering
Covering paints over your greys and leaves a hard line at three weeks. Blending creates a middle ground between your natural colour and your grey, so regrowth softens instead of announcing itself.
🖤 You have more options than you think
Full coverage every three weeks isn’t your only path. Colour designed to grow out naturally means most clients stretch to eight to twelve weeks instead.
🖤 Nothing here is permanent
Blending is a bridge, not a one way door. Use it to transition fully to silver later, or just use it to make your current colour easier to live with. We can shift the plan any time.
