These moments don't last forever but...❤️⤵️

But there isn't a girl dad out there that wouldn't want to freeze some of these moments in time with his daughter.

Her first steps, or the first time she says "daddy."

They are moments that a father never forgets.

What moment would you want to freeze in time?

A father will be proud and sad...❤️⤵️

He'll be proud of his daughter for growing up and becoming a strong independent woman.

But will also be sad because he might not be the first person she calls anymore, but that's okay because...

That means her dad did everything right, and he can hold his head proud of who he raised.

Not only do I give my son as many hugs and kisses as he'll let me...

I'm telling him I love him and I'm proud of him daily.

A son should never question his father's love. Ever.

People start to notice, and when your wife knows that you are an amazing father to your children...

It's often because you genuinely love it.

There's nothing more fun than being a father to your kids and even on the tough days, you still want to be there with them.

Nothing is won by trying to argue over your kids and raising your voice.

Because one day, your kids will tell their friends about their dads and hopefully, only have good things today.

It can be so hard and stressful sometimes dads, but lead with calm and strength.

A father can't deny this...❤️⤵️

When a father has a daughter, he thinks he'll be able to raise her as a strong and capable woman who doesn't need anything from anyone...

But as most girl dads realize...

As soon as she is born there's nothing he won't do for her.

And I think both things are important for a strong father daughter bond.

My wife has made me patient, kinder and much more open minded.

She's helped me to experience things I probably would have never been able to.

And she's been so fiercely protective of my heart.

I hope this day doesn't arrive soon...💪⤵️

Every father knows that one day his son will outgrow him.

He will be able to handle life on his own and not really need your help anymore...

But if you did everything right he will still love you just as much as he did when he was little.

We are navigating emotions and feelings we don't understand as dads...

And sometimes we want to fix things for our daughter...

But the biggest realization a girl dad can have is sometimes it's better to just be with her and know she's supported without trying to fix anything.

If you were a kid walking on eggshells in your own home...

Or always waiting for that slamming door, or screaming from the top of the stairs...

It's awful. And you vow as a dad now to never let that happen for your kids.

Their home will always feel safe.
