The was glad to attend the Town of Cochrane Ironman 70.3 Calgary event this past weekend. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet with participants and their supporters alike. Thank you for having us!

Doug Davis, 1941 - 2026.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doug Davis, retired City of Calgary EMT-P, on July 12, 2026, at the age of 85 years. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to STARS Ambulance or Alberta SPCA.

The EMS Foundation is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of two Island EMS paramedics and their patient. We send our heartfelt condolences to their families, friends, coworkers, loved ones, and everyone at Island EMS.
