SoCal Social is a community event curated to bring our climbing community together and give everyone the opportunity to compete whether you’re a new or experienced climber.

Don’t want to compete but still want to be part of the event? Come help us out by being a volunteer.

Scramble format with 60 boulders to try throughout the entire gym. Boulders will be rated 1 – 60, 1 is the easiest 60 is the hardest. See how far you can get! Participants will have 2.5 hours to complete their top boulders. You can try any boulder as many times as you want. Your 6 hardest will count towards your score.

Climbing, DJ, Draw Prizes throughout the entire night!

Join us for the afterparty in our boulder garden when you’re done climbing!

Bevies, music, games, more draw prizes, and happy hour prices with a bespoke menu from Approach Café + Bar

We’re so excited to welcome 50 lovely couples to Chinook on Friday night.

Our routes and training areas will remain open throughout the week and weekend.

Our bouldering area will be closed as of Thursday, all day Friday and until 4pm Saturday.

Chinook Members have multi access Thursday until the end of Saturday.

SoCal Closure Notice From

This Friday, February 7th, SoCal is hosting our 6th SoCal Social bouldering event! This is a fun community scramble competition with 60 new boulders gym wide going up from our amazing setting crew, a live DJ, tons of draw prizes, vendors and a special feature menu from Approach Café + Bar.
Spetators are welcome!

Please take note of the following closures leading up to this event.

Wednesday, February 5th: Partial Facility Access. Half of the boulder walls will be closed for the setting.
The training area, middle training walls, and half the regular boulders are open and available.

Thursday, February 6th: Partial Facility Access. One section of regular boulders will be open. Training area and middle training walls will be open.

Friday, February 7th: Facility Closed until 6 pm, when we will open the doors for the SoCal Social event. Spectators are welcome! Approach Café will be serving up some tasty tacos!

Also, please take note of the following disruptions to the following SoCal weekend mornings.

Saturday, February 8th: CCC Team training Sport Cup in facility. 100 athletes will be climbing the boulders from 7 am to 12 pm. Limited access during this event.

Sunday February 9th: CCC Team training Dev Cup in facility. 60 athletes will be climbing the boulders from 8 am to 12 pm. Limited access during this event.

Current SoCal Members (and month pass holders) have complimentary access to all our other CCC locations from Wednesday, February 5th to Sunday, February 9th, if desired.
