✨ Toddler Development (18–23 Months) ✨
Between 18 and 23 months, children experience incredible growth in their development and skills. At this stage, toddlers are becoming more independent, curious, and expressive every single day!
🌿 Why Home Support Matters
The connection between childcare and home is essential. When families continue at home what children practice during the day — reading together, encouraging independence, talking, singing, and setting loving boundaries — development becomes stronger and more meaningful.

Today we proudly wear pink to celebrate Pink Shirt Day — a special day across Canada that reminds us that kindness, respect, and inclusion start early.
At our childcare center, we believe that even our youngest children (ages 1–6) can learn the beautiful values of empathy, friendship, and standing up for one another. Through age-appropriate activities, stories, and guided play, we teach children how to use kind words, share, include others, and show God’s love in their daily interactions.
As a faith-based community, we are guided by the message:
“Be kind and compassionate to one another.” – Ephesians 4:32
Together with families, we are nurturing little hearts to grow in kindness, confidence, and respect — because small acts of love can make a big difference.

Watching a one-year-old grow is full of exciting milestones! At this age, little ones are developing important skills every day — from learning to walk and explore, to building language, social connections, and independence.
At our childcare, we support each stage of development through hands-on, age-appropriate activities that encourage:
