We will be opening up our Show Home at 95 Ranchview Way NE this weekend. Our fully developed 1500 sq-ft bungalow is backing directly on to environmental reserve and is just steps away from amazing river valley views. Pop in from 1:00-2:30 both Sat & Sun for a visit.

Off to a great start in 2025. We were invited back to Mrs Harrison’s class to talk about building and construction again this year. Tammy read “Big Plans” for the kids and I had brought some construction tools along for show and tell. 🔨 🪚 🏠 Thanks for having us back Elm Street school we enjoyed the afternoon.

Dave’s Do’s & Don’ts of Winter Home Maintenance ❄️🏡

Keep your home safe and sound this winter with these essential tips!

✔️ DO:

Control Humidity: Condensation on windows isn’t just annoying, it’s a sign of trouble! High humidity can lead to mold and moisture issues. Use bathroom fans and a dehumidifier to keep things balanced.

Check Your Furnace: Strange noises? Time to investigate. And if you haven’t changed your filter recently, now’s the time!

Turn Off Hose Bibs: Disconnect hoses and shut off exterior water lines to prevent freezing and cracked pipes.

❌ DON’T:

Use Salt on Concrete: Salt and other products can damage concrete finishes on your step, stairs and driveway. Opt for sand to keep your surfaces safe and slip-free.

Pile Snow Against Your Foundation: Shovel snow AWAY from your home and ensure downspouts are directed away. Melting snow near your foundation can cause major moisture issues.

Stay ahead of winter’s challenges and protect your home all season long!

Haven’t posted for a while!!

We have some super cool builds happening up in Ranchlands right now. Sloping lots can be a challenge at times but with some creative ideas and a talented design team you end up with great results. The views from these decks are going to be amazing. The quiet neighborhood of Ranchlands offers easy access to the river Valley and amazing vistas. We have one oversized lot left on inventory as well as a 1500 sq ft bungalow(95 Ranchview Way NE) that will be hitting the market shortly. What is the end of the build process like? This question has come up a lot lately as we near the end of a few custom projects. It’s mostly excitement with all the fun stuff getting completed…..mixed in with some mayhem. We had a great time chatting with Mrs. Harrison’s Grade 1 class about building and construction. Together we read “Mighty, Mighty Construction Site,” talked about tools and showed off our working boots! Were there some future carpenters in the class? You never know!
