This day is a reminder to listen with care, learn from the truths that have been shared, and reflect on the role each of us can play in reconciliation.

September is FASD Awareness Month, a time to build understanding, challenge stigma, and recognize the strengths and experiences of people living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Enviros’ Neurodevelopmental Assessment & Diagnostic Centre (NDC) is the only clinical team in Calgary providing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessment and diagnostic services for children, youth, and adults.

Today is International FASD Awareness Day. September 9 symbolizes the nine months of pregnancy and is an opportunity to increase understanding of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Red shoes have become a symbol of FASD awareness, helping spark conversations, show support, and reduce stigma.
At Enviros, our Neurodevelopmental Assessment & Diagnostic Centre (NDC Clinic) supports individuals and families through specialized assessment and diagnostic services, helping them better understand FASD and access the supports they need.
Today, and throughout FASD Awareness Month, we invite you to learn more, spread awareness, and help us build a community where everyone has the opportunity to reach their potential.
