A reminder, in this unique time leave your dog (s) alone for at least a few minutes every few days if you can. Check the mail, go for a drive, or even putter in the yard. This will prepare your dog for when they are home for longer periods in the future and prevent some separation anxiety behaviours.

"Dog trainers everywhere are very concerned about puppies right now. We constantly stress the critical nature of puppy socialization and recommend a wealth of activities that involve close contact with a whole range of people and places, including group puppy class. Dogsession has a new human trainer in training ;)
We unexpectedly welcomed Kaliana Elizabeth Craigen at 5:51 am on October 10th by emergency c-section. She was 7.5 weeks early, due December 1. She weighed in at 4 pounds 5 ounces.
Bryan and I were surprised, but are overjoyed with her arrival. It will be a bit of a journey while she is in hospital, but she is doing well.
At this time I am recovering from the c-section and am not able to drive. Dogsession will taking a small break, and stay tuned for more posts and updates. I will have a trainer set up to refer to if you need any assistance.
I will be taking appointments in the New Year.
I am not sure when Kaliana will be coming home, but will post updates as they happen. Right now I am spending a lot of time at the hospital.
Thank you all for your support.
