Our Kindergarten to Grade 9 students had an absolute blast at Calaway Park for our year-end field trip! From the high-energy rides and rollercoasters to the classic carnival games, the park was filled with smiles, laughter, and pure joy.
More than just the rides, today was all about celebrating the incredible community we’ve built this year. Watching our students share these final few days of the school year together, laughing with friends, and soaking up the sunshine was the perfect reminder of what makes our school so special. ❤️

Part 1
Our Junior High students recently returned from an unforgettable overnight adventure at **Kamp Kiwanis**, and it’s safe to say memories were made that will last a lifetime.
From the unique experience of sleeping in the yurts to the beautiful, grounding moments of praying Salah together as a community, this trip was truly special. We embraced everything nature had to throw at us—including some epic canoeing in the rain! 🛶🌧️
Once the sun went down, we dried off by roasting marshmallows, and sharing camp stories around the fire. 🪵✨
A massive and heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the incredible staff, chaperones, and organizers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this trip a reality for our youth. We couldn't have done it without you!
(And yes, in case you were wondering... no bears came to visit us! 🐻❌)

🏆 A Historic Victory for the Horizon Hawks! ⚽🎉
Friday marks a truly memorable moment in Horizon Leadersship Academy history as our Horizon Hawks Soccer Team achieved their first-ever tournament championship victory! Through hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and determination, our athletes showcased outstanding sportsmanship and skill throughout the tournament, culminating in a well-deserved championship win.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Mr. Aaron Mitchell and Mr. Anwar Omar for their dedication, guidance, and unwavering support of our student-athletes. Your commitment to developing both character and athletic excellence has played a significant role in this remarkable achievement.

🏔️ Grade 9 Mountain Adventure! 🚌✨
Our graduating class traded the classroom for the great outdoors! Students and staff boarded the bus ready to unplug and connect with nature, and what a day it was.
From hiking up the stunning Johnston Canyon to refuellying with a delicious, hot delivered lunch at Cascade Ponds, every moment was unforgettable. But the absolute best part? Bonding with the Creator and each other. The endless smiles, pure happiness, and non-stop laughter made this day incredibly special for our grads. ❤️

Today, our graduating classes participated in a special walk-through at HLA, where they were celebrated by their peers, teachers, and staff. It was a meaningful moment to recognize their hard work, growth, and accomplishments throughout the years.

As our graduates move on to the next chapter of their journey, we pray that Allah blesses them with beneficial knowledge, success, strong character, and steadfastness in their faith.

🐾🌿 Calgary Zoo Field Trip Adventure! 🌿🐾
Our Div 1 students had an exciting and educational day at the Calgary Zoo! From observing amazing animals from around the world to learning about wildlife conservation and habitats, the trip provided countless opportunities for discovery and hands-on learning.
Students were full of curiosity as they explored the exhibits, asked thoughtful questions, and connected their classroom learning to real-world experiences. It was wonderful to see their excitement, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the day.
