Still remember April 2008 like it was yesterday… I was still trying to figure out marriage, work, and life itself when suddenly I became someone’s mama. And now somehow, 18 years later, that colic baby who never let me sleep is officially an adult. Honestly, time needs to slow down a little.

Asjad, we truly grew up together. There were so many moments when I wasn’t sure if I was guiding you the right way or giving the best advice, but we learned together along the way. You really were my experimental baby.
All these years, I’ve just tried my best to raise you with kindness, empathy, warmth, and the same values and tarbiyat my parents gave me. Watching you work hard in school, manage cricket, and balance so many things with dedication has made us so proud.
To the world, you may officially be an adult now, but for me you will always be my little Asji — the boy who is always there for his mama and can never see me upset. I have complete trust in the choices you make and the person you are becoming, especially as you keep your deen as your top priority. It’s not you I worry about… it’s the world around you.
Now university is around the corner, your younger brother looks up to you, and In sha Allah one day we’ll look back at this phase with so much love, laughter, and gratitude… still wondering how these 18 years flew by so fast.

When I get creative freedom, the magic just flows. All I had was a colour palette, and I turned it into this floral dream — with my signature sails, pretty blooms, and a hint of gold. From the cake to the arch, drapes, candles, and flowers, every little detail was styled to feel romantic and dreamy. A sweet centrepiece the bride and groom will always remember.

A precious little Irha joined our world, and we celebrated her arrival with our famous chocolate cake. The 3D clouds might look simple, but they took over 2 hours to perfect for that dreamy, fluffy look. And that edible baby - another 2 hours of love and detail!
