This is a trying time for many of our Canadian Veterans as they try to integrate back to civilian life.
Canadian Legacy Project is a national, volunteer-run charitable organization that provides free programs to support Canadian Veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Canadian Legacy Project supports our Veterans in need across Canada in the areas of Employment, Mental Health, Food, Equine Therapy, Employment, Business Start Up, PTSD Programing and Education. In order to help with the transition Canadian Legacy Project has developed national programs designed to help those who have stood on guard for our great country. Canadian Legacy Project is one of the few registered charities which is run by volunteers allowing the dollars raised to go directly to Veterans in need. While operating a registered Canadian charity has some accounting and legal expense, we are very proud that 93% of the dollars that are raised go to our Veterans in need. Canadian Legacy Project is thrilled to partner with Red Rose Ranch to present the Female Veterans Horse Camp Inc. (R3VHC)! R3VHC is a five day program focused on peer support and equine assisted learning from instructors and staff that are mirror images of the participants. The program will teach participants the basics of the equestrian lifestyle while incorporating the wellness benefits associated. The goal is to set our participants up with the tools for a lifelong journey of putting themselves and their well-being first. The program is open to Veterans, Military personnel, and First Responders. No diagnosis for any injury is required to apply. https://www.r3vhc.com/

Canadian Legacy Project is privileged to collaborate with Paws 4 Resiliency in Alberta and Veteran’s Elite Canines in Ontario to present our Paws That Protect Her program. This initiative is unique in Canada as it is the only service dog program tailored to support the specific needs of female Veterans. The program is offered to participants at no cost.
Our Mission: To support and advocate for Canadian Veterans by funding critical programs not fully covered by Veterans Affairs, empowering Veteran entrepreneurship, uplifting underserved female Veterans, and honouring our Veterans' service through public education.
