Both dances are full of feelings and let you express yourself with your body. 💃 In Bachata, you move your hips to the beat, and in Belly Dance, we love to use hip circles and shimmies! 🎶

Both are all about feeling the music and having fun while dancing.

✨ Hi, I’m Lily! ✨

I’ve always been a creative soul, exploring new things and expressing myself through dance. I’ve lived in Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, and now Canada! 🌍
But it was in Ukraine where I found my true passion—belly dancing. 💖

I started dancing professionally, earning certificates, medals, and performing in so many shows! Belly dance became my life—it’s something I simply can’t live without. 🏅

I’ve also studied choreography, ballet, and national dances, but nothing felt quite like belly dance. When I moved to Canada, I noticed that belly dance isn’t as popular here, and many people don’t fully understand its beauty. 🌸

To me, belly dance is all about femininity, fun, relaxation, and flexibility. I want to share this amazing dance with everyone and change the way people see it.

✨ Belly Dance vs. Oriental Dance: What's the Difference? ✨

Did you know there’s a difference between belly dance and oriental dance? 🤔

Belly dance is the style we often see today with fun hip moves, shimmies, and lots of energy! 💃

Oriental dance (also called Raqs Sharqi) is the traditional dance from Egypt. It’s more about telling a story with graceful movements and has a deeper cultural background. 🌟

Both are beautiful in their own way! Which one would you like to try? 🤩
