Current project. Next step is carving but I’m super nervous. I feel like the set the bar a little to high for myself this time. Good grief!

Part of the fun of using ink to draw and write is the way it creates along with you. It pools and saturates to create effects you may have not intended.

Part of my daily spiritual care is coping the Psalms, and journaling. As I’ve worked through writing out the Psalms this year I’ve taken a small portion and written it into my daily journal entry for further reflection.
I love the Psalmist’s honesty and straightforward voice.
L. M. Alcott said “I like good strong words. “ Me too. I’m thankful God is big enough to hear and carry all my big strong words and feelings.

My whole adult life I’ve been trying to work out how to hold these three things in balance each day. I’ve written them out to remind myself each day of all three so that I give something of my day to each of them. It’s a journey folks. 🏃

My parent’s home is called The Snuggery. Everything about it is snug. It’s small, it’s surrounded by huge trees, it’s placed against a natural rock face, and there are lots of smiles and hugs within! 😍
