Garage slab is poured and we had to give tribute to my dad who won’t get the chance to see the new home completed. He carved the same thing in his new garage 42 years ago which I turned into an art piece for him. He did poke through the clouds just as I finished though so I think he approves

Tile going in! Glad to have a pro like Matt at taking care of the job, he’s a real artist and takes the time to make it perfect… what more could we ask for! Give him a follow and a call if you want the best.

Framing complete (for the most part!), windows in, Rough-Ins underway… we may actually get a house this year! We are definitely learning all the pitfalls of building during a worldwide pandemic. Labor and supply shortages, extended lead times and extremely unstable prices are just part of the journey. But hey… weather is nice (today), everybody’s healthy, and most important Flames are in the playoffs!

Working on a new plan, client is undecided on permanent covered roof or pergola over the patio… what do you think?

Raise the roof! Finally seeing some progress on Livara Acres, and made sure to bring out our Roof specialist Sulley to sign off on the work. Hopefully see the rest go on this week!

That’ll just buff out… speaking of buff, my wife helped me dig this old truck bed and nose out of the back field of our new property, and we carried/dragged it all the way to our new home! If you look WAY behind her, that’s my truck where we scavenged it. Going to be a cool flowerbed next spring!
