Hey buddie organization
A not-for-profit that creares good vibes and real results for community NFP.
Exciting and nervous about this drug. Excited to see what it can do. Nervous that it won’t do anything.

Sometimes the signs of an eating disorder are subtle.
They may look like:
• skipping meals or sudden food rules
• fear of eating socially
• excessive exercise
• mood changes, withdrawing from friends
• declining concentration
• rapid weight change
Not every sign means an eating disorder.
But patterns matter.
If something feels off, trust your instincts and start a conversation with compassion—not fear or blame.
And most importantly: help works. Seek the advice from your family doctor or care provider.
With early support, many young people can recover and rebuild healthy relationships with food, movement, and themselves.
You don’t need certainty to start caring.
You don’t need to wait for things to get worse to ask for help.
Early intervention matters.

Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses—but they are treatable.
According to Dr. Monique Jericho of the Calgary Eating Disorder Program, 85% of young people who present with anorexia can recover fully when provided with appropriate treatment.
That’s why early recognition matters.
The longer an eating disorder becomes entrenched, the harder recovery can be—physically, emotionally, and socially.
Support may include medical care, therapy, nutrition support, and family involvement.
For parents and caregivers, support can start small:
• have honest, calm conversations
• listen without judgement
• avoid blame or shame around food, weight, or exercise
• focus on concern, not appearance
• connect with your family doctor or healthcare provider early
You don’t need all the answers to take the first step. Sometimes simply noticing, asking, and showing support can make a real difference.
The key message: help works, and recovery is possible.

With hey buddie moves, we’ve already raised $300+ for our spotlight nonprofits. 💛
And it’s come from people doing what they already do…
🚶 Going for a walk
🏃 Going for a run
🚴 Biking
🎾 Playing squash
🥾 Hiking
Whatever gets you moving.
No cost.
Nothing fancy.
Just people living life and moving their bodies.
I’ve always been an active person, and I give that love of movement a lot of credit for helping me get through cancer — and keeping the Dad bod somewhat in check today. 😏
Science continues to show that purposeful movement is good for both the body and mind. I couldn’t agree more.
With hey buddie moves, we simply add another layer to that good: supporting local community nonprofits while doing something you already love.
Thanks to Mom’s estate and a generous donation from one of my biggest supporters through , hey buddie now has $1,000 to sponsor Phase 1 of the move campaign.
More movement = more impact. 💪
