IT AFFECTS ALL OF US...IT STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION

MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION IS A BIG STIGMA IN OUR COMMUNITY AND IMPACTS ALL OF US

LAST YEAR WE STARTED A CONVERSATION ABOUT HOW TO BRING AWARENESS TO THIS AND SINCE THEN WE HAVE SEEN SOME INDIVIDUAL CHANGES AND EFFECTIVE AND INFLUENTIAL PIVOT IN HOW OUR COMMUNITY VIEWS MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION

THIS YEAR, AS WE CONTINUE TO PUSH THE NARRATIVE, WE ARE DOING THIS IN SUPPORT OF NAM RECOVERY A CENTER FOR HOLISTIC RECOVERY IN THE NORTHEAST AREA WITH THE HELP OF ROTARY CLUB CALGARY EAST

WE HAVE AN AMAZING NIGHT PLANNED FILLED WITH LIVE PERFORMANCES FROM SOME INCREDIBLE ARTISTS IN OUR CITY, THE VINZ, KILITIA, JASON CRAWFORD, CLOVER FLUER, DENA G, REDFOOT, AND SOLOMON DAGREAT. WE ALSO HAVE A FASHION SHOW BY MANDEEZ XCLUSIF PLUS FOOD AND BEVERAGES. WE HAVE SOME WELL VERSED GUEST SPEAKERS IN THE AREA OF MENTAL HEALTH INCLUDING DR. GILL HIMSELF, THE FOUNDER OF NAM RECOVERY

IPMG will be standing behind our next generation of artists in Spotlight Thursdays Growing Pains. Kilitia will be headlining the show with 5 opening artists including Morning Starr, Cult5ive, Northside Waka, DioYun $olla and Bloo.

Come out and celebrate talent and support local artists and the next generation on May 28th at Rumur. Door is open at 8pm.

YYC Live presents: Drop the Mic Vol. 24

Join us April 24 at Hitman’s Bar for a curated night of live music featuring a diverse lineup of local talent. This edition brings together Afro-inspired performances from 2 Blac and Yayo the Man, alongside hip-hop sets from Ryan the Rapper, Yungg Craze, Travis Omen, Lito, Reppresion, and Cap D.

On May 28th, we’re proud to present Kilitia live at Rumur.

Through his work with IPMG, his sound has continued to evolve, and his confidence on stage is undeniable.
