I have endeavoured onto my next adventure. After 15 years of being a home theatre enthusiast, and spending the last 2 designing and building my dream theatre in my basement, I have decided to open a consulting business helping people design and construct their own personal theatres. Specializing in design, layout, speaker placement and sound proofing and room acoustics, I can help you design a new room from scratch, work with an existing room or just help you get the most of your system through acoustical analysis and treatment.

Can’t tell how much longer I’ll baby spam my feed but she’s so damn cute! Hopefully bonding with my snowboard now will motivate her to ski or snowboard as soon as she can stand. I don’t really care which she does, just want her on the slopes! Anyone have experience getting a young child on skis/snowboard? How early is too early? 🎿

I’m proud to introduce the latest addition to our family, Elyse Natalia Soltys. She is starting to settle a bit and can finally start shooting some of the photos I’ve been conjuring up. Welcome to this world little one.

This panoramic turned out pretty magnificent, you really need to see the full size photo to really appreciate it. The full size photo is 70MP and has remarkable detail and clarity. Definitely one of my favourite photos from the Grand Canyon.

For those that purchased my 2020 calendar, this photo may look quite familiar. I had a really hard time picking between my 2 top photos of crater lake which was one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever visited. One phot was captured in a rocky area with red soil, while the other was in a different location around the lake with sandy light soiI. I still can’t figure out which one I like more. What do you think, which version do you prefer? @ Crater Lake National Park

The evening of this sunset, I only took a few photos from this spot with the tree but they are by far my favourite photos from that sunset. The sun hitting the tree and lighting it up turned out really spectacular.

I must say that the sunsets in Arizona were some of the most spectacular I’ve seen. Combined with the shock factor of snow on the ground, it really made for some great photos. Oh I miss the good ol days of being about to explore the outdoors and travel. If we all continue to hopefully things will return to normal sooner than later.

Despite not being thrilled about being locked in, I’m happy to be doing the with my amazing wife and having time to go through some photos that I haven’t had time to go through otherwise. This one goes back to February when we took a to Arizona to escape winter. Definitely one of the best destinations I’ve ever been to. More to come soon!
