June is Aphasia Awareness Month 💚
Aphasia is a communication disorder that can affect a person’s ability to speak, understand, read, and write. It can happen after a stroke, brain injury, or other neurological conditions.
People with aphasia still have thoughts, ideas, and stories to share—they may just need extra time and support to communicate them.
This month, we’re helping spread awareness, encourage understanding, and remind our community that patience and inclusion can make a meaningful difference. 💚
