We had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Marcey E. Shapiro, MD to talk all things thyroid and functional mushrooms. Dr. Marcey E. Shapiro is an author and an integrative physician in private practice, with extensive training and experience in natural medicine. One of her favorite functional drinks to make is her Happy Mushroom Drink:

+ 1 tbsp Real Mushrooms Hot Chocolate

+ 1/2 tsp (1000mg) of Real Mushrooms Tremella powder

+ 1/2 tsp of Real Mushrooms Reishi powder (optional)

+ 1 tsp Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) crystals

+ 1 scoop (5g) collagen

+ Cream or coconut milk to taste

Heat cream or coconut milk if desired. Combine dry ingredients, then add to cream or coconut milk and combine well with a whisk or frother.
