#2011

SAD, BUT TRUE. 💔

I have had the privilege of hosting NAML Knowledge City event for over a decade, and every year it reminds me of the power of our community when we come together for a great cause.

This year’s event was very special with the presence of popular Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Ejaz Aslam.
The event was well attended and well organized, and together we raised $156,000 to support NAML University students with their education, boarding, and lodging.

A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors, donors, community members, and volunteers who worked hard to make this event a success. Special thanks to Dr. Samina Bajwa and Dr. Kamran for their leadership and dedication.

Thank you to our media partners Red FM, Sangeet Studio, Sursangam Radio, Jalal Ladak, and Abid Khan.
Special thanks to our MLAs Muhammad Yaseen and Irfan Sabir for their support.

This was truly one of the most memorable events, and I’m proud to have been part of it.

It was an honor to attend the inaugural open house of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of Alberta (APPA), which was recently held in Fahad Banquet Hall in Calgary.

APPA is the ONLY official Alberta chapter of APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America), one of the largest organizations representing Pakistani physicians in North America. The gathering provided an opportunity for attendees to learn about APPA’s vision, objectives, and plans to promote professional excellence, mentorship, healthcare collaboration, and community engagement.

The APPA Executive Committee thanked all attendees, volunteers, and supporters for making the inaugural event a success and invited Pakistani physicians across Alberta to participate in future initiatives and programs.
