Not all disabilities are visible, but every person deserves to feel seen
On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we want to highlight something many workplaces overlook: most disabilities are invisible.

Wrapping Up DEAM 2025 with Gratitude!
Last week, we celebrated our 4th Annual Employer Appreciation Awards — a highlight of Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM)!
It was an incredible afternoon filled with inspiring stories, laughter, and connection as we recognized employers who are creating inclusive workplaces and championing neurodivergent professionals across Calgary.

Our Story
“Spectrum Advantage: Employment Without Borders”
A community-based project that is designed to train, assist and support individuals who live on the autism spectrum with employability skills and employment opportunities.
Our four month program includes four weeks of paid job readiness preparation classes specifically geared towards people living on the autism spectrum, followed by a minimum of three months paid employment for program graduates. During these 12 weeks, both program participants and employers are supported by an ASD Human Resource Consult/Job Coach. Additionally, employers are offered a bursary to offset the costs of on-boarding and training a new employee.
