There are enzymes made by the liver that helps carry out a handful of functions in the body. When these enzymes are elevated in the blood, it would mean that the enzymes are in overproduction and are leaking out of the liver as a result of an injury to the liver. However, liver enzymes are typically not part of routine blood work. Find out if you should consider a Liver Enzymes Test! 💜 Click the link here, https://bit.ly/3bHkbSt

Self-care has been a popular subject in recent years, but not everyone knows exactly what it entails. It’s not all about spa days and pampering. It’s about prioritizing your own mental and physical health. When going through the change of menopause or dealing with unusual life circumstances, self-care becomes even more important. To improve your overall wellness, we’ve come up with a few ways you can practice self-care during menopause. 💕
1. Eat a Nutrient-Rich Diet 😋
During menopause, getting the right vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients from the foods we eat is just as important as it has always been. Part of practicing self-care during menopause should include paying attention to your diet and making good food choices!

Iron allows the body to carry oxygen so that cells can make energy. Therefore, an insufficient amount of iron would make one tired. 🥱 In contrast, too much iron can cause liver and heart disease, as well as diabetes, and can be life-threatening. Women in premenopause and perimenopause can lose too much iron through monthly bleeding, particularly in perimenopause when the period can become heavy. Post menopause, on the other hand, can accumulate too much iron since the woman stops shedding through menstrual blood. As mentioned above, iron tests can be used to infer inflammation, infection, malignancy, nutrient status, cardiovascular, and hepatic health.🩸

Accurately determining the iron level in your body requires a combination of blood tests. Just one test alone does not tell an accurate picture of iron stores. Therefore, doctors cross reference one test with another to get an accurate picture. What’s more important with the iron tests is that abnormal numbers can tell a thing or two about inflammation, infection, heart disease, liver disease, and sugar balance problems. So, don’t think that the iron panel just does the mere job of gauging iron stores, it can tell a lot about your health status! 🩸
