π MAY MARKET STATS ARE OUT! π‘
Calgaryβs housing market continued to move toward more balanced conditions in May. While sales and new listings were both lower than last year, increased inventory is giving buyers more choice, and home prices have remained relatively stable overall despite some variation across property types. ππ
Hereβs a little breakdown:
β’ Home sales were down 16% compared to May 2025.
β’ New listings decreased by 13% year over year.
β’ The benchmark price for all residential property types was $570,500.

Balanced conditions continue to shape the Calgary housing market, with sales easing slightly compared to last year while inventory levels remain relatively stable. Despite some softening, the market is still showing resilience across several segments.
Hereβs a little breakdown:
β’ Last month's sales were 0.3% lower than a year before.
β’ There were 2.3% fewer homes listed than the previous year.
