What would people say if you died? What would they say behind closed doors Is that what you would want them to say?

Framing what you want your life to be like can help frame up what you want to be doing in your business.

And that will make the grind... seem like not a grind at all.

What does alignment mean in a business setting?

Alignment is important in terms of entrepreneur's personal lifestyle and ambitions relative to their business goals and dreams. Most haven't considered that they should align these two things.

But guess what happens when these areas aren't aligned?

Friction. 💣 💀

If your business goals are moving counter to your personal goals (or vice versa) you are quite literally working against yourself. You will never achieve anything you want. Or at the very least, you won't achieve it quickly.

So ensure that your personal and business lives are aligned to eliminate any undue friction and create a state of flow.

Every business starts out with the owner having their "boots on the ground". They are the wearer of all hats. And as they grow, that typically doesn't change. Owner's typically say "I'm the only one that can do that" or "It will only take me 5 minutes, but someone else an hour".

Over time these kinds of thoughts keep small business owners squarely tied to all facets of their business. They're stuck, because they've made it that way!

The key learning here: be aware.

If you have awareness of how ingrained you are in the business, and how your actions are keeping you there, you can start making plans and taking actions to change that.

It's a simple mindset shift. But a powerful one! 👊
