Thanks to this low- maintenance set up, our client officially plays golf more often than he mows his lawn.

He also said its the first time in years his teens actually want to hang out at home.

Win.

Waiting till summer to get your summer yard is gonna cost you precious summer weekends!

You don’t wanna throw in some tiki torches late May.

You don’t wanna buy another metal firepit from Home Depot.

You don’t want another Costco haul of temporary plants.

Let’s design NOW so that by June, your yard is THE PLACE. You in?

Read this if you have “Boring front yard syndrome”

This client really wanted a space that was unique, low maintenance, and avoided any possibility of mulch wandering around his property.

Here are the six steps we took:

1. Proper base excavation. We’re never those guys that just drop stuff in place without planning. This space needed excavation, proper compaction, a little irrigation too.
2. Careful grading + rock = a yard that handles water properly, never risking water pooling near the house.
3. Our client really didn’t want mulch spilling around his yard and driveway. 2” crushed granite keeps things low maintenance and wandering-mulch free.
4. We like big rocks and we cannot lie. These boulders majorly upgrade the yard and give texture and variety.
5. Proper plant spacing means this yard is guaranteed to look better every single year. See, doing this right is like Botox for your yard.😂
6. The surrounding concrete provides an organized frame. Clean line make for easier (and less) mowing. Let’s keep your Saturday open for golf, hey?

If you have a boring front yard and need help making it “unboring” - give us a call. We’re booking into spring now!

Is it seasonal affective disorder, or just bad landscaping? 🤔

A lot of our clients used to be quite bummed when they looked at their yard. Their new home came with all the shiny features but no actual usable outdoor space.

Fixing that somehow magically also lifted their mood, their desire to get outside, and their sense of pride in their home.

If you wanna see how your yard can go from depressing to amazing, give us a call.

Your #1 curb appeal killer could actually be your neglected side yard. Most people don’t bother addressing it because they hope that by ignoring it, they’ll just forget about it.

So it becomes the place where weeds take over and old garden hoses go to die. 😂

But when you actually transform that forgotten strip into something intentional, something magical happens. Suddenly it's not this awkward space you rush past with your head down. It becomes this natural flow that connects everything together.

We just wrapped up a project where the homeowners were convinced their side yard was a lost cause. Now they call it their red carpet entrance. It guides you smoothly from the front to their backyard oasis, and honestly, it might be their favorite part of the whole property now.

That's what happens when you stop pretending problem areas don't exist and actually give them some attention. Your entire property starts working together instead of against itself.
If you've got a side yard that's awkwardly waiting to be finished, we should talk.

Most sloped yards are built to fail water.
Because slope issues aren’t landscaping problems.

They’re physics problems.

And water doesn’t negotiate.

The Engineered Creekscape is a method we’ve refined over years of solving runoff, drainage, and erosion challenges — working with gravity instead of constantly fighting it.

By controlling water flow (aka reducing force), and protecting soil structure, this approach turns a common property frustration into a killer landscape feature.

Beauty, engineered with purpose.

Most installers avoid flagstone because it's complex. That's why it often costs more than it should.

But when you know what you're doing? Flagstone is cost effective, beautiful, and long lasting.

We don't shy away from the hard stuff. We've spent years mastering flagstone installation.

When flagstone fails it's almost always because the installer didn't know what they were doing. Not because flagstone sucks. So if you’ve always wanted this look but have had contractors tell you why you shouldn’t - just know - it can absolutely be done when technique is right!

We don't ALWAYS recommend concrete (and we love a good paver patio). But this was one of those situations where concrete made the most sense.

This project has lasted years and our client still loves it!

Sometimes, a bit of privacy allows you to create space for yourself.

It's YOUR yard, and it should feel like your yard.

Your yard should allow you to feel relaxed, not self conscious.

Seclusion isn't always a bad thing. 😉

If you need a custom fence, we're ready for you!

If building was the only thing I loved, I would have built a strictly commercial business.

The truth is, I love working with people. I love getting to know their unique lifestyle and needs, and building around that.

And I LOVE seeing the look on their faces when they see the finished product.

Yes, it’s to your benefit that we have so many years of experience, all the right equipment, and systems to bring your project together smoothly.

But, if we end up dancing like this together after your project is complete…don’t say I didn’t warn you.
