The age of the big three.
Roof, furnace, water heater. They can pass inspection today and give out next winter. Ask how old they are, whether there's been any insurance claims, and what's been replaced and when.
What the neighbourhood actually feels like.
You can renovate a house. You can't renovate your neighbours. Drive through at different times of day before you decide.
